Chemtura Introduces Firemaster( r) 800 Flame Retardant

Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) launches Firemaster( r) 800, a
new flame retardant for flexible polyurethane foam that delivers
20% higher efficiency than the previous generation of
Firemaster( r) 550 products.
   Firemaster( r) 800 is a cost-effective alternative to
chlorinated phosphate flame retardants. It enables
manufacturers to achieve superior foam properties, whilst using
less additive in their formulations.  Foams using Firemaster( r)
800 demonstrate increased product protection and outstanding
resistance to scorch and thermal degradation.  
   Firemaster( r) 800 is a new option for Chinese furniture and
polyurethane foam and manufacturers, who export to North America
and Europe, where their products must meet U.S. (California 117)
or British standards for flame retardant properties.
