On May 9th, 2007 Honeywell and Beijing Si Ji Micoe Solar Energy
Co., Ltd. announced that Beijing Si Ji Micoe Solar Energy Co.,
Ltd. has launched a line of green solar energy water heaters
using Honeywell Enovate (R) (245fa) blowing agent.
   Honeywell Enovate is a non-ozone-depleting
hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) that provides excellent insulating
properties when used in high performance rigid polyurethane foam.
As part of the launch ceremony, Si Ji Micoe announced it has
invested RMB30 million to produce a new line of solar water
heaters that uses high performance rigid polyurethane foam
insulation. The company estimates an annual capacity of 600 000
units.
Honeywell is a recognized leading innovator in high
performance blowing agent technology for foam insulation. In
addition to rigid polyurethane foam for energy-efficient solar

spray foam to insulate commercial and industrial buildings,
transportation, as well as homes, especially walls, basements
and attics.
