Yongtai Chemical Kicks off Radial Tire Project

Shandong Yongtai Chemical Group Co., Ltd. (Shandong Yongtai)
recently held a ceremony for starting the construction of the
first-phase 2.0 million pcs/a unit of a 6.0 million pcs/a
semi-steel high-performance radial tire project in Dongying,
Shandong province. It is a "green" and environment-friendly
project with a total investment of RMB300 million. Civil work
was already been launched on schedule and will be completed at
the end of August 2007. Operation will be started on December
31st, 2007 and the design capacity will be reached on May 30th,
2008. Its research and development will highlight more than 100
varieties in 3 categories such as PCR including snow terrain
tires, LTR including MT and AT and UHP. Products will mainly be
used for export. After the completion of the project, the profit
in the company can be increased by more than RMB100 million a
year.
