Explosion in Jiangxi Ganhui  
On May 8th, 2007 Jiangxi Ganhui Pharmaceutical & Chemical Co.,
Ltd. (Jiangxi Ganhui) got exploded in Xingan county, Ji'an,
Jiangxi province. Three people disappeared and 12 people injured
in the accident.  
   Although the company locates next to Ganjiang River, no
pollution has been caused to the river after the accident. It
is released that the accident happened when workers were doing
mechanical maintenance. The whole production workshop collapsed
and caused fire. Jiangxi Ganhui is a private company, mainly
engaged in the production of pharmaceuticals and chemicals.

Explosion in a Chemical Plant in Shanxi
On May 5th, 2007 Huian Yinxing Resin Plant got exploded in
Zhangban town, Huian county, Fujian province. The accident
caused 1 death and 7 injuries.
   According to an official of the local government, this
accident was caused by the raw material in the resin plant. It
is released by a worker in the plant isoamyl acetate in the color
decoration may be the explosion source.

Explosion in Qingdao Hengyuan
On April 26th, 2007 explosion took place during the pipeline
welding in Qingdao Hengyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. located in
Qingdao, Shandong province. Workers were launching maintenance
at the waste sulfuric acid pipeline on the top of waste acid tank
in the sulfuric acid workshop. The explosion accident caused 1
death and 2 injuries.

Explosion in Zhengzhou Xiangda Chemical
On April 25th, 2007 Henan Xiangda Chemical Co., Ltd. got exploded
in Liulin town, Jinshui District, Zhengzhou, Henan province. Two
people died and 4 people injured in the accident.
   According to Zhengzhou Municipal Environmental Protection
Administration, the pollution caused by the chemicals explosion
will not affect the normal life of the residents in the
surrounding regions.

Explosion in Lanzhou Auxiliary Agent Plant
On April 24th, 2007 a reaction kettle got exploded in the pilot
workshop of Lanzhou Auxiliary Agent Plant located in Anning
District, Lanzhou, Gansu province. Five workers injured in the
explosion when they were conducting experiment for the new
technology in the workshop.

Chlorine Leakage in Jinzhou   
On April 23rd, 2007 chlorine leakage happened in the 3rd
Pesticide Branch Plant of Hubei Sanonda Co., Ltd. located in
Shashi District, Jingzhou, Hubei province. Twenty-seven workers
got poisoned in the accident. It is released that the accident
was caused by the sudden power cut in the plant.
