Shenyang Sanxiang Starts up Special Tire Project

The special-purpose tire project of Shenyang Sanxiang Tire Co.,
Ltd. was recently completed and put on stream in Shenyang Rubber
Industry Park of Shenyang Chemical Industry Zone (SCIZ) located
in Shenyang, Liaoning province. It is a part of the first-phase
project in Shenyang Rubber Industry Park, which also includes
a 1.2 million pcs/a all-steel radial tire production line.
   Shenyang Rubber Industry Park with a total investment of
RMB4.3 billion made by Shenyang Shuanglong Tianbao Rubber
Company Ltd. is expected to be completed in 2010 with the annual
sales revenue reaching RMB10 billion then. Shenyang Sanxiang has
spent an investment of RMB250 million for the special-purpose
tire project, and started the construction on May 31st, 2007.
(CCR2006, No.17)  The production capacity of special-purpose
tire is expected to finally reach 300 thousand pcs/a after its
completion in 2010. The second-phase project of Shenyang Rubber
Industry Park will include production lines of 10 million pcs/a
semi-steel radial tire, 2.4 million pcs/a all-steel radial tire,
automobile sealing strips, marine floating hoses, firefighting
belts, 10 million m2/a conveyor belts and waterproof materials.
