Ronghui Chemical Starts up Concentrated Caustic Soda Unit
     
Wuhu Ronghui Chemical Company Ltd. (Ronghua Chemical) recently
completed the 20 thousand t/a concentrated caustic soda (50%)
unit and successfully put it on stream in Wuhu, Anhui province.
The technology imported from J&Y Corporation of the United
States is adopted, and the loan of Asian Development Bank
supplies the financial support. Construction was started in
October 2006 and wet commissioning was conducted on March 8th,
2007. Qualified 50% caustic soda was manufactured on March 10th,
2007.
   Upon its completion, it adds a new type to the list of caustic
soda variety for Anhui province. Ronghui Chemical is mainly
engaged in the production of basic chemical materials including
caustic soda, PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and CPE (chlorinated
polyethylene).
