Guoxin Constructs Superfine Silicon Micro Powder Production

On February 27th, 2007 the ceremony for launching the superfine
silicon micro powder production base of Xinhuan Co., Ltd. funded
by Shandong Guoxin Company with an investment of RMB35 million
was held in Fengyang Industry Zone of Chuzhou, Shandong
province.
   The project with a total investment of RMB35 million will be
executed in two phases. The production scale will be 60 000 t/a
in the first phase and 40 000 t/a in the second phase. After the
completion of the project, the total production scale will reach
100 000 t/a. Leading products nano calcium carbonate and silicon
micro powder are mainly used in coatings, pharmaceuticals,
oilfields, cosmetics, detergents, food and chemical
polymerization. Raw materials used in the production are from
Fengyang and nearby areas. They mainly include dolomite and
quartz sand from Fengyang, concave/convex bar powder from
Mingguang and kaolin from Huaibei. The production base is a
high-tech project producing nano nonmetallic materials.
