Baili Chemical Puts Sodium Cyanide Unit on Stream

The sodium cyanide unit in Weifang Baili Chemical Co., Ltd. has
recently completed wet commissioning. Construction on the
project was started in 2005. Both the product output and the
product quality have reached design indexes and stable full-load
production has also been achieved. The 5 000 t/a methyl
cyanacetate unit in the company was also started production at
the end of 2006 and high-quality products have already been sold
in the market.
   Weifang Baili Chemical Co., Ltd. is a holding subsidiary of
Tiande Chemical Co., Ltd., whose major products include sodium
cyanide, ethyl cyanacetate, methyl cyanacetate, diethyl
malonate, dimethyl malonate, anhydrous ethanol and tert-butanol.
Isobutene and polyisobutene production units are also under
construction.
