Jianye Fuel Constructs Methanol Fuel Base

AX vehicle clean fuel that can replace gasoline and diesel, a
vehicle methanol clean fuel developed by Heilongjiang Jianye
Fuel Co., Ltd., was recently put on stream in Harbin,
Heilongjiang province. The first phase project funded by the
company is already completed. After the full completion of the
production base, 600 000 tons of vehicle methanol AX fuel can
be produced a year.
   The fuel has already passed the joint appraisal of relevant
experts. It has excellent power performance and starting
performance, great resistance to spontaneous combustion and
explosion and low pollution of tail gas emission. The fuel can
have cross use with gasoline and can also be blended with
gasoline. It causes no damages to vehicle fuel systems.
Byproducts from the coal-based methanol production and the oil
production are used as raw materials. The utilization value of
coal and oil is increased and new vehicle fuel resources are also
created.
   Some vehicles in Harbin have already started to use this fuel.
Satisfactory results of the product are proved in the
application. According to an executive from the company, with
the support of relevant state government departments the company
plans to construct production bases in the near future in Beijing,
Guangzhou, Shanxi province, etc.
