Qiuzhiyou Completes Nucleotide Production Line

On January 25th, 2007 Nantong Qiuzhiyou Bioscience &
Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Nantong Qiuzhiyou) completed a 160 t/a
nucleotide production line and put it on stream in Binhai
Industry Park, Qidong, Jiangsu province. Nantong Qiuzhiyou was
jointly set up by Shanghai Science & Technology Investment Co.,
Ltd. and Shanghai Qiuzhiyou Bioscience & Biotechnology Co., Ltd.
with a total investment of RMB80 million. The first nucleotide
production line spent around RMB25 million. The company started
to construct the second nucleotide production line at the end
of 2006 and will complete it in April 2007.
    Other products developed by Shanghai Qiuzhiyou Bioscience
& Biotechnology Co., Ltd. include deoxynucleoside,
deoxynucleotides, deoxynucleotide triphosphate.
