Wanda All-steel Radial Tire Project Kicks off

On November 16th, 2006 the construction was started on the 100
000 pcs/a all-steel engineering mechanical radial tire project
of Shandong Wanda Group Co., Ltd. in Wanda High Sci-Tech
Industrial Park located in Dongying, Shandong province. The
all-steel engineering tire project is planned to have a total
investment of RMB1 billion and a design capacity of 250 000 pcs/a.
The first phase with an investment of RMB460 million will reach
the 100 000 pcs/a design capacity, amounting to 600 000 t/a
all-steel radial tire. And a capacity of 2.4 million t/a
all-steel tire and tire industry's annual sales revenue of
nearly RMB5 billion can be reached in 2007.
