Major Units of Dazhou Chemical Fertilizer Project Kick off

Civil work was recently started on the major units of Dazhou
chemical fertilizer project in Qilu Petrochemical Company Ltd.
with Ningbo Engineering Co., Ltd. as the EPC in Dazhou Natural
Gas Energy Industry Park of Sichuan province. The project is
mainly composed of process units, utilities and auxiliary
facilities. The design capacity is 300 000 t/a ammonia and 504
000 t/a urea.
   The raw material of the project is natural gas produced by
Sinopec Group in Northeast Sichuan province. Main equipment and
materials of the idle ammonia and urea unit in the Second
Chemical Fertilizer Plant of Qilu Petrochemical Company Ltd. are
used to construct a large synthetic ammonia unit for the
production of macro granular urea.
