100 000 T/A Bio-Diesel Project Starts up

On December 4th, 2006 Liuzhou Minghui Bio-Fuel Co., Ltd.
announced that its 100 000 t/a bio-diesel production line with
a total investment of RMB65 million put on stream in Liuzhou New
& High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Guangxi province. With
the technology developed by the company itself, the 100 000 t/a
production line is the first phase in the company. The bio-diesel
capacity is planned to reach 300 000 t/a at the end of 2008 with
the total investment of RMB130 million. After completion, the
100 000 t/a bio-diesel production line will help the company
increase its annual sales revenue by RMB600 million in 2007.
     The 15 tons of bio-diesel products manufactured in the
trial production on November 24th, 2006 passed the approval of
Liuzhou Institute of Supervision & Testing on Product Quality,
proving to have such advantages as low impurity content, low
price, regeneration, non-pollution. The company manufactures
bio-diesel with woody oil crops as major raw material and now
is still making use of animal and plant fats as raw material.
