DSM Nutritional Products Launches HIDROXTM

DSM has announced to launch for their proprietary product
HIDROXTM in Asia, Latin America, Europe and Africa. HIDROXTM is
made from the juice of organically grown olives by a
patent-protected process. The olive juice possesses high
concentration of polyphenols with strong antioxidant and
anti-inflammatory activities. HIDROXTM main polyphenol and main
antioxidant is hydroxytyrosol, a scientifically well documented
molecule.  
   In addition, on November 23rd, 2006 DSM held a ground breaking
ceremony for its new polymer plant in Jiangyin, Jiangsu province.
The plant will produce high viscosity grades of Akulon (r )
polyamide 6 (PA6).
   Representing a total investment of several tens of millions
US dollars, the new polymer plant will be built at DSM's
Engineering Plastics site in Jiangyin. DSM currently operates
a compounding plant and a regional development service center
at this site. The new plant will use leading technology and is
equipped with best-in-class safety, health and environment
compliance systems. It is expected to begin production in Q2
2008.
