Furuisi Launches 100 000 T/A Bio-Diesel Project


Qingdao Furuisi (in Chinese phonetic alphabet) Bio-Energy
Sci-Tech Development Co., Ltd. jointly established by Qingdao
Fuanbo Company Ltd. and Shandong Peanut Research Institute
recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for a 100 000 t/a
bio-diesel project in Laixi of Shandong province.
   Furuisi will invest RMB50 million in the execution of the
project in two phases. The project will use peanut oil heels,
trench oils and scrap animal fats in the catering sector to
produce bio-diesel. Bio-diesel has no generation of sulfur
dioxide when combusting and hazardous gases emitted are around
70% less than petroleum diesel. It can play an important role
in promoting cyclic economy and environmental protection. The
bio-diesel production is greatly safe with energy conservation
and environmental protection. The quality of bio-diesel
produced in the project can reach the standard for 0# diesel.
After completion, the project will help the company increase
sales revenue by RMB640 million a year.
