Tianrun Chemicals Starts PAM Project

On December 25th, 2006 construction was started on the 20 000
t/a PAM (polyacrylamide) project in Anhui Tianrun Chemicals Co.,
Ltd. (Tianrun Chemicals) located in Bengbu Fine Chemical
Industry Park, Anhui province. With a total investment of RMB126
million, the project is the first project during the company's
Eleventh Five-year Program period (2006-2010) and is planned to
put on stream in September 2007. After completion, the project
will help the company increase its sales revenue by over RMB400
million per year.
   Tianrun Chemicals has two major product series - PAM and
phthalic anhydride, which has a capacity of 18 000 t/a and 35
000 t/a respectively.
