Anhydrous Hydrogen Fluoride Project Kicks off in Guizhou


On December 26th, 2006 construction was started on the 20 000
t/a anhydrous hydrogen fluoride project in Guizhou Hongfu
Industry & Commerce Development Co., Ltd. in Fuquan, Guizhou
province. With a total investment of RMB188 million, this
project jointly invested by Guizhou Hongfu Industry & Commerce
Development Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Lantian Environmental
Protection Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. and Solvay of Belgium is scheduled
to start up in October 2007. The project makes use of
fluorosilicic acid, the by-product in the phosphoric acid
production, as the raw material to manufacture anhydrous
hydrogen fluoride.
     It is released from an executive of the company, the company
used to manufacture aluminum fluoride by recovering fluorine.
Nowadays, anhydrous hydrogen fluoride with high added value is
produced instead so that the pollutant emission amount in the
company is reduced accordingly and the local ecological
environment is improved further.
     On November 19th, 2006 construction was started on another
20 000 t/a anhydrous hydrogen fluoride project in Zhejiang
Lansol Fluorchem Co., Ltd. in Quzhou Hi-Tech Industrial Park,
Zhejiang province. The project is jointly invested by Zhejiang
Lantian Environmental Protection Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. and Solvay
Fluoride GmbH of Germany.(CCR2007, No.1)
