New Polyurethane Coatings

Guangdong Keshun Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. recently developed
a new water-curing polyurethane waterproof coatings. The
product is a single-component white liquid made from
macromolecular preformed polymer with terminal isocyanate group
generated through the addition reaction between polyether
polyol and isocyanate and with the addition of plasticizers,
pigments and gas removing agents. In the application, water is
directly added as curing cross-linking agent. Active groups in
the coatings have reaction and curing with water molecules to
generate waterproof film with the features of rubber elastomers.
A remarkable effect of "being waterproof with water" is
therefore achieved.
