New Antibacterial Fiber

Nanometer antibacterial acrylic fiber with great activity
jointly developed by Anqing Petrochemical Company Ltd., Donghua
University and China Textile Academy recently passed the
experts' appraisal organized by Sinopec Group.
   It is a research project of Sinopec Corp. Anqing
Petrochemical Company Ltd. has already made the successful
production of 1.5d nanometer antibacterial acrylic fiber with
great activity.
   The spinning dope prepared has excellent spinning property.
Tests show that the antibacterial rate of the fiber after 50
times of washing is 91.6%. It indicates that the fiber has strong
antibacterial effect and excellent dyeing ability.
