D-Amino Acid Production Technology

The method for the production of D-amino acid through penicillin
acylation enzyme developed by Chengdu Organic Chemicals Company
Ltd. CAS recently passed the technical appraisal organized by
the Science and Technology Bureau of Sichuan province.
   Quite a few D-amino acid varieties with high optical purity
have been produced through the combination of chemical
racemization and bio-enzymatic resolution. The technology is
innovative. The production process basically has no pollution
and products have the features of low cost, high purity and
environmental protection.
   D-amino acid is a key intermediate for chiral pharmaceuticals,
chiral pesticides and chiral food additives and therefore has
extensive applications in pharmaceutical, pesticide and food
sectors.
