New Chloride Dioxide Process Wins Invention Patent

The new high-purity chloride dioxide process jointly developed
by School of Chemistry of Sichuan University and Chengdu Chuanda
Jinzhong Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (CJSTC) recently won
the invention patent from the State Intellectual Property Office
of China following the patent authorized by the American Patent
Office in 2005. (CCR2005, No. 24)
CJSTC has designed and manufactured CDJZ high-purity
chloride dioxide generators with different specifications and
capacities and also put them into market. Sichuan Science and
Technology Department has recently invited experts from the
Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the
National Chlorine Dioxide Experts Team to conduct appraisal to
the product.
The technical progress has made it possible to use low-cost
and high-purity chlorine dioxide for tap-water sterilization,
industrial waste water treatment, paper pulp bleaching, medical
sterilization and oil recovery sectors.
