New Plasticizer TBC

A new non-toxic, mildew-inhibiting and antibacterial
plasticizer - TBC (tributyl citrate) recently been developed by
Jiangxi Xufeng Industrial Co., Ltd.
   The product has good compatibility, high plasticization
effect and small volatility and can replace phthalate
plasticizers. Plasticized plastic products have excellent
properties such as no toxicity, no odor, mildew inhibition and
bacterial prevention and can therefore be used in food packing,
cosmetic additives and emulsifiers. In the tobacco industry TBC
can absorb HCN generated in cigarette burning to reduce hazard
to smokers.
