ABS New Products Pass Appraisal

Low-smoke flame-retarding PC/ABS alloy plate special material,
highly heat-resistant ABS/PC alloy special material and
low-smoke flame-retarding ABS special material jointly
developed by Fine Chemical Technology Center of Jilin
Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (JPC), Rubber & Plastic Co., Ltd. of JPC
and Polymer Material State Key Lab of Sichuan University
recently passed experts' appraisal organized by CNPC and are
applying for state patent.
    Low-smoke flame-retarding PC/ABS alloy plate special
material is an engineering plastic with excellent properties.
Actual application has proved that it has good workability and
great impact strength.
    Highly heat-resistant ABS/PC alloy special material has
good heat resistance, great impact strength and convenient
processing and is extensively used in automobile and electrics
sectors. Actual application has proved that it has good
workability.
    Low-smoke flame-retarding ABS special material also has
good application results.
    It is reported that the basic design for a 6 500 t/a
commercial production unit of these 3 special materials already
been completed.
