New Carbon Black Production Technology

The project for the "Super High Temperature Carbon Black
Production in Carbon Black Combustion Chamber", a major
technical innovation project in Shaanxi, recently passed the
appraisal sponsored by Shaanxi Science and Technology
Department. The new technology can solve lasting problems in the
carbon black industry such as serious environmental pollution,
great energy consumption and unstable product quality. Besides,
production indexes are readjusted and control parameters are
optimized to improve the product quality.
   Compared with traditional carbon black production processes,
when the feed amount is the same the new technology can
effectively increase the yield of superior-grade products and
reduce the production cost and the tail gas discharge. The
technology can be extensively used in wet-process carbon black
production lines.
