Fermented Alcohol   

The fermented alcohol separation project in Henan Tianguan Group
recently achieved continuous production.
   Fusel oil is a byproduct generated in the alcohol production.
Tianguan Group developed a new filler and separation equipment
that can extract from fusel oil 3-methylbutyl alcohol and
2-methylbutyl alcohol with relatively high added value.
Intermittent production has also been shifted to continuous
production. The product has a purity of over 99.5% and the
product quality is stable. The production cost is also greatly
reduced. 100 tons of fusel oil can be processed a year.

Bio-Diesel in Shandong

The 50 000 t/a vehicle bio-diesel production line constructed
by Dongying Huien Bio-Fuel Co., Ltd. recently started production
in Guangrao county of Dongying, Shandong province. The output
has reached 50 tons per day. It is the first bio-diesel project
in Dongying.

Bio-Diesel in Hebei

The 50 000 t/a bio-diesel high-tech project funded by Hebei
Dongan Industrial Co., Ltd. recently started construction in
Shijiazhuang High-Tech Industry Development Zone of Hebei
province.
   The production line is a fully closed unit. Circulation
cooling water is used in the production system and clean energies
such as steam and natural gas are used as heat sources. The
project will be executed in two phases. The first phase will have
an investment of RMB30 million and a capacity of 10 000 t/a and
start production in October 2006. The second phase will have an
investment of RMB80 million and a capacity of 50 000 t/a and be
completed within 3 years.
