Explosion in an Oil Making Factory in Zhangzhou   
On June 27th, 2006 there was an explosion in Fujian Jinshi Oil
Making Co., Ltd. located in Merchants Zhangzhou Development Zone
of Longhai, Fujian province. Five workers died in the accident.
Fujian Jinshi Oil Making Co., Ltd. is a private enterprise,
manufacturing vegetable oil.

Explosion in Shuguang Master Batch Plant in Jiangsu
On June 20th, 2006, an explosion broke out in Shuguang Master
Batch Plant in the High-tech Development Zone of Meiyan town
located in Wujiang, Jiangsu province. The accident took place
in a chemical production department and caused the whole
department collapsed. Seven workers got badly injured.
   Shuguang Master Batch Plant is a company specialized in fiber
master batch production with major products of phosphate,
pesticide intermediates, printing and dyeing assistant, etc. It
is released that master batch is extensively used as the coloring
pigment in the fiber and plastics industry.

Poison Gas Leakage in Beijing Zizhu Pharmaceutical
On June 20th, 2006 poison gas leakage happened at Beijing Zizhu
Pharmaceutical located in Chaoyang district of Beijing. The
accident caused 1 death and 2 injuries.

Fire in a Paints Plant in Yixing
A resin workshop of Yixing Paints Plant got explosion and caught
fire in Taihua town of Yixing, Jiangsu province on June 18th,
2006. Three workers got burnt.

Fire in an Alkali Plant in Henan
A fire broke out on June 26th, 2006 in a boiler department of
an alkali plant located in Xiaoyi town of Gongyi, Henan province.
An acetylene tank caught fire during overhaul. No further
information was disclosed.
