New Process Carbon Black

A special carbon black production process using ethylene tar as raw material was recently developed by Shanghai Boka Chemical Co., Ltd. Such carbon black is used as compounding material in cable plastics. Commercial production in a 15 000 t/a carbon black production line has already started.    Application results show that the product can remarkably increase the strength and improve the UV-ray resistance of cable sleeves.
