Complexing Acidic Coordination Dyestuff

The project for the "research and application of complexing acidic coordination dyestuffs" organized by Shaanxi Science and Technology Department, sponsored by Shaanxi Education Department and undertaken by Xi'an University of Engineering Science and Technology passed research achievement appraisal.    Domestic or imported acidic coordination dyestuffs are used as main raw materials and colorless organic ligand developed by the university itself is used to have complexing reaction with these dyestuffs. In this way complexing acidic coordination dyestuffs used for wool dyeing in weak acid conditions can be produced. Such dyestuffs have excellent property and dyeing effect.    The major innovative point of the project is that colorless organic ligand and traditional acidic coordination dyestuffs are used to have complexing reaction, chromium atoms in dyestuffs that have complexing reaction with complexing groups in wool fiber can be temporarily closed and dyestuffs can therefore conduct dyeing to wool fiber in weak acid conditions without adding any additives. After the application of dyestuffs, colorless organic ligand in dyestuffs is substituted by complexing groups in wool fiber to achieve the purpose of dyeing.
