Fire in a Plastic Plant in XiamenOn May 8th, 2006 Longji Plastic Plant suddenly caught fire located in Tongan district of Xiamen, Fujian province. It is released that the cause of the accident is the leakage of the thermal conductivity oil. Due to the timely rescue, the fire was effectively controlled with no injury.

Fire in a Chemical Warehouse in GuangzhouOn May 10th, 2006 a chemical warehouse caught fire in Guangzhou of Guangdong province. More than 16 000 people made emergency evacuation. The preliminary investigation showed that the accident was caused by the improper operation of the worker. The accident caused no death.
