 New Environmental Friendly Cross-linking Agent

Wuhan Qianglong New Chemical Materials Company Ltd., located in Hubei province of central China, recently announced it developed a new environmental friendly cross-linking agent that has been appraised by relevant professionals. This technology was firstly created by Chinese companies, following behind Japan and Germany.    The new material is trimethoylol propane tri(3-ethylene imino) propionate, a water based additive used for the solidification of water based coatings and ink. It also can be used in water based coating agent for leather and used as the cross-linking agent in polyurethane waterproof coil materials. After solidification, the products added by the new agent can form a tight layer of film after solidification, which is super smooth and anti-corrosion. After solidification, trimethoylol propane tri(3-ethylene imino) propionate does not release any low molecular organics such as formaldehyde, instead, it can be decomposed into water under the catalytic action of carbon dioxide. 5 to 10 kilogram of such agent is needed for one ton of coatings.
