Flue Gas Desulfurization Project Launched in Yantai

The third-phase desulfurization project in Shandong Yantai Bainian Power Co., Ltd. with a total investment of RMB200 million has recently been launched. It is the first flue gas desulfurization project in the company. The desulfurization rate can reach 95% and the discharge of sulfur dioxide can be reduced by around 13 000 tons a year. The successful completion of the project will help clear the surrounding atmospheric environment, beautify the city image and improve the residents’ life quality.
