Redox Fluid Storage Battery System Developed

The project for the "research and development of redox fluid storage battery system" undertaken by Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics CAS has recently made major advances. The research, development, assembling and debugging of a 10KW full-vanadium fluid storage battery system has been completed and the energy efficiency is more than 80%.    Compared with other storage batteries, fluid storage battery has the advantages of high energy efficiency, large power storage capacity, flexible system design, long service life of active substances, super-deep power discharge, no irreversible battery damage, low price and easy availability of battery component materials, free site selection, short construction cycle and low expense for system operation and maintenance.
