New Special Catalyst

The new LIP-100 special catalyst developed by the Research Institute of Petrochemical Processing in CNPC Lanzhou Petrochemical Company Ltd. has made successful trial production in Catalyst Plant of Lanzhou Petrochemical Company Ltd. and 300 tons of the new catalyst has already been produced.    MIP has become a choice process in the production of clean gasoline in China. The process has broken restrictions in the catalytic cracking process being used today, achieved controllable and selective cracking reaction, hydrogen transfer reaction and isomerization reaction and improved product property and distribution.     Compared with new-generation heavy oil olefin reducing catalysts being used today the special catalyst can increase the yield of liquefied gas in the equal total liquid yield. The yield of propylene is higher by more than 1.0 percentage point and the research octane number of gasoline is higher by more than 1 unit.
