15 000 T/A Chlorination Process Titanium
              Dioxide Project Making Progress
The 15 000  t/a  chlorination  process  titanium  diox- ide
project in Titanium Dioxide Plant of Jinzhou Ferroalloys Co.
, Ltd. has made a breakthrough in startup.   The  unit  has
conducted a continuous running of 96  hours  and  produced
more than 200 tons of high quality titanium dioxide.   The
key technology for chlorination process  titanium  dioxide
production has therefore be basically solved.   The  total
  reliance  on  import  of  chlorination  process  titanium
dioxide in China will be brought to an end.
