5 000 T/A Chloroacetic Acid
             Unit Starts Production in Shandong
The  5  000  t/a  chloroacetic  acid  unit  constructed  by
Shandong Tanhua Group with an investment of over 6 million
yuan is recently completed  and  has  started  to  produce
  qualified  product.   The  product  quality  reaches  the
national standards for excellent industrial-grade variety.
  The  unit  uses  the  domestic   advanced   acetic   acid
chlorination process with sulfur as catalyst. The  process
has low energy consumption and high product quality.
