Paraformaldehyde Unit to Be Constructed
                   by Inner bongolia and Japan
Yikezhaomeng  Chemical  Industrial  Group  Corporation   of
Inner  Mongolia  and Mitsubishi Gas  Chemical  of    Japan
have  signed  a  letter  of  intent  on constructing a  30
000 t/a paraformaldehyde unit. Some of the product    will
be bought back by Japan. The feasibility  study  is  being
made today.
The project will be completed in the third quarter of 2000.
Beijing Jinyuan Donghe Chemical Co., Ltd. and High Chem of
Japan will also  become  partners  in  the  joint  venture
enterprise.
