First Organic Bacterial Fertilizer Plant
           to Be Constructed in Chongqing Qijiang
Chongqing Qijiang County Government and  Chongqing  Tongdao
Scientific & Technical Co., Ltd. have reached an agreement
to introduce technology and equipment from IBR  of  Canada
and construct an organic bacterial fertilizer plant  using
organic garbage as raw material.
  According to the State Environmental  Protection  Bureau,
farm products such as vegetables and fruits grown with the
  help  of  organic  bacterial  fertilizer  can   get   the
certificate of green food.
   Chongqing  is  the  first  city  in  China  to  use  the
production  technology  of  such  fertilizer.   The  total
investment of the project is 40.75 million yuan.   Qijiang
County Government will apply for 20.75 million yuan of low
-interest environmental protection loan from Canada.
