Large Tetrahydrofuran Unit Put into Operation
The biggest tetrahydrofuran unit in China was completed and
put into  operation  the  other  day  in  Qiqihar  Qianjin
Chemical Industrial Co., Ltd. .   The  unit  will  have  a
capacity of 3 000 t/a and a total annual industrial output
value of 100 million yuan.
The second-phase and third-phase renovation is now in  full
swing and will be completed at the end of next year.   The
capacity will reach 10 000 t/a, and the unit  will  become
the biggest in Asia. Not only the  tense  domestic  demand
will be eased at that  time,   the  product  may  also  be
exported to the international market.
