Petrochemical Research BaseEstablished in Beijing

Changping Research Base of China Petrochemical Research Institute,  the
biggest petrochemical  research  and  testing  center  in  Asia,   has
recently been completed.
The center is established by using the loan from  the  World  Bank  and
will be engaged in the research of oil refining and catalytic processes.
The first phase of the project includes oil refining process building,
catalytic cracking building, gas storage station, sewage pump  station
and warehouse, totaling a built-up area of 18 000 m2.
