New Packing of Agrochemicals Expected by Farmers
The packing of chemical  fer- tilizers  and  pesticides  in
China has failed to meet the requirements of  farmers  for
long years. Experts appeal once again for a quick solution
.
Farmers usually use mu or time to  measure  the  amount  of
chemical fertilizers and pesticides.  If  the  measurement
method used in the  market  can  be  integrated  with  the
method used by farmers, there will be a great progress  in
the packing of agrochemicals. Chemical fertilizers sold in
the agrochemical market are packed in 40 kg and 50 kg bags
and pesticides have packages of 250 ml, 500 ml and 1 000 ml.
Such forms of packing have brought a lot of inconveniences
to farmers. Farming  is  now  mostly  done  by  individual
households. The small-scale farming will last for  a  long
  time  in  China.   Farmers  hope  to  purchase   chemical
fertilizers and pesticides in measurement units of mu (1mu
=1/15ha).
