Trichloroethylene Project in Guizhou

The 15 000 t/a trichloroethylene project jointly funded by Zhejiang Blue Sky Environmental Protection High-Tech Co., Ltd. and Guizhou Zunyi Alkali Factory has recently started construction in Zunyi Alkali Factory.    On the principle of advantage complementation, joint development and mutual benefit, the two parties have decided to establish Guizhou Blue Sky Chemical Co., Ltd. and launch a 15 000 t/a trichloroethylene project.    Trichloroethylene is an environmental benign refrigerant. Chlorine and calcium carbide produced in Zunyi Alkali Factory are basic raw materials for the trichloroethylene production. The project has a total investment of RMB36 million. After the completion of the project, the sales revenue can reach RMB120 million and the profit will be more than RMB30 million a year.
