5.0 Million T/A Condensate Refinery EPC Project in Algeria

The ceremony for starting the construction of the 5.0 million t/a condensate refinery EPC project in Algeria was held at the plant site on Aug. 20, 2005 local time. PetroChina China Petroleum Engineering & Construction (Group) Corporation is the general contractor of the project.      The project is located in Skikda Industry Zone to the west of Algeria. It is one of the major projects in the overall planning of the petroleum industry in Algeria. The project includes a 5.0 million t/a condensate processing plant and a matched oil product tank farm. According to provisions of the contract, the project will be delivered on April 20, 2008. China Petroleum Engineering & Construction (Group) Corporation will dispatch well-experienced technical and managerial personnel to conscientiously execute the project, ensure the quality and timely completion of the project, regard the project as a typical example in the cooperation between the two countries and make contributions to the promotion of the economic development in Algeria.
