150 000 T/A Methanol Unit Starts Production

With the completion of the pressure-swing adsorption unit, the CO2 recovery unit, the CO2 compressor and the by-pass compressor, the methanol unit of Methanol Plant in Sichuan Northwest Gas Mine of CNPC Southwest Oil/Gas Company has produced the first batch of qualified refined methanol. The combined running of new and old units has been achieved after renovation and expansion.     After the whole unit starts normal production it can produce 500 tons of methanol a day and 150 000 tons of methanol a year.
