PolyOne Polymers Processing Plant Starts Operation

On June 21, PolyOne Corporation officially announced in GuangZhou ChinaPlas 2005 Exhibition that its new plant has been launched in Shenzhen, Guangdong province. The new plant holds a total area of 20 000 m2, and has a capacity of 10 000 t/a polymers processing, with an initial investment of US$10 million. In fact, the plant started operation by the end of May 2005. It is the first time for PolyOne to manufacture multi-series products in a site, which includes pigments and functional additive masterbatch, engineering plastics, wires and cables compounds, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounds and polymer coatings systems.
