Viscose Fiber Project Starts Production in Sanyou Group

The 40 000 t/a viscose fiber expansion project has recently started production in Tangshan Sanyou Group Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. The project has a total investment of RMB350 million and a design capacity of 40 000 t/a. The project includes two production lines. One is a 20 000 t/a fine denier yarn production line that was completed and put on stream at the end of 2004. The other is a 20 000 t/a great-whiteness fiber production line that has recently completed wet commissioning. Products of the two production lines are all differential fibers with a bright market prospect. The capacity of viscose fiber, one of the leading products, in Sanyou Group has reached 120 000 t/a.
