Yakela-Dalaoba Gas Field

Yakela-Dalaoba Gas Field of Sinopec Northwest Company has recently started the development stage.   The gas field is located in Kuche county north of the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang. It is the first natural gas field launched by Sinopec Northwest Company. According to the design, natural gas geological reserves of 29.278 billion m3 will be used and 11 gas wells will be drilled to form a capacity of 1.0 billion m3/a natural gas and 250 000 t/a condensate. A 200 000t light crude oil tank car will also be constructed in South Xinjiang Yakela Railway Station. The total investment in the development of gas field will be RMB899 million.    The capacity of natural gas in the gas field will reach 1.0 billion m3/a at the end of this year and the target of supplying 450 million m3 of feedstock gas to the large chemical fertilizer unit in Kuche a year will be attained.
