100 000 T/A Nitric Acid Renovation Project Launched

The 100 000 t/a nitric acid renovation project in Anhui Huaihua Group Co., Ltd. was launched on May 16.     The project uses the world advanced double-pressuring process with high ammonia utilization rate, low platinum consumption and good heat energy recovery. The nitrogen oxide content in tail gas is lower than the discharge limit defined by the state. The project has a total investment of RMB100 million and a construction cycle of one year. After the completion of the project, the capacity of concentrated nitric acid in the company can reach 330 000 t/a, and the sales revenue will be nearly RMB200 million a year.     After repeated renovations and expansions conducted to the concentrated nitric acid unit, the capacity of concentrated nitric acid in the company has gradually increased from 40 000 t/a to more than 200 000 t/a today. It occupies nearly a 20% share in the domestic market and holds the first place in the sales of concentrated nitric acid in China.
