Phosphate Compound Fertilizer Facilities Localized

Recently the first phase of the localization demonstration project in Anning Phosphate Compound Fertilizer Base in Yunnan province was completed by Yunnan Furui Chemical Company Ltd. - a subsidiary of Yuntianhua Company Ltd. and put on stream, that include 800 000 t/a sulfuric acid unit, 300 000 t/a phosphoric acid unit, 600 000 t/a DAP (di-ammonium phosphate), and the relevant appliances, with a total investment of approximately RMB1.089 billion.    It is reported that the second phase of the project is scheduled to start-up by 2007 with an investment of around RMB1.6 billion, and the total capacity of high concentration phosphate compound fertilizer will reach 2 million t/a at that time.
