Automobile Component Starts Construction

Bridgestone (Changzhou) Automobile Component Co., Ltd. was established recently to produce shockproof rubber products for automobiles. The company is located in Changzhou New District, Jiangsu Province, wholly owned by Bridgestone.    The site occupies an area of 40 000 m2. An investment of US$16 million has already been made. Bridgestone will put more investments to conduct capacity expansion. It is expected that a capacity of 170 000 sets/a automobile components will be formed in September 2006. These automobile components will mainly be sold to Chinese automobile manufacturers.
