Guangzhou Becomes the Top Grade Plastic Hoses Production Center

Schauenburg Science and Technology Corporation of Germany, the world largest plastic hose manufacturer, formally entered Nansha economic development zone of Guangzhou, Guangdong province recently. Guangzhou Sote Plastic Hose Science and Technology Co. Ltd., which is the subsidiary by Schauenburg's sole investment, held a ceremony for the breaking ground of plastic hose production base in Nansha. The project will be completed and put into production in August, 2005 with the total investment of US$20 million. At that time, Guangzhou will become a production center of the top grade plastic hose in the world.   After the first phase of the project is completed and put into production, the annual production value will be about US$9.7 million. Sote Company will use Schauenburg's advanced technology and scientific management to produce the world top-ranking soft plastic hoses, which will be mainly used in all the vacuum plastic hoses strengthened by plastics and metal wires in the industries of vacuum cleaner and maintenance of business-floor. At the same time, Sote will also provide a variety of corrugated hoses molded by blow mould, such as the soft hoses of automobile's air and oil roads, soft hoses of submersible pumps, bilge soft hoses and piping of looms, etc.
